The milestones represent key moments in UKFast's history and are updated regularly.
Mar 2008 - UKFast wins 'Best Dedicated Host' at the ISPA Awards for the fourth year running.
Feb 2008 - The latest Ecoserver technology is rolled out offering sophisticated business solutions from £35/month.
Jan 2008 - UKFast makes it to the final five in the ISPA Dedicated Hosting Category for the chance to win for the fourth consecutive year.
Oct 2007 – UKFast is voted #1 UK Dedicated Web Hosting provider at UK Web Host Directory.
Sept 2007 – Lawrence Jones wins the Institute of Directors’, Young Director of the Year award.
July 2007 - UKFast announces a partnership with Manchester City Council and Ask:Goodman to develop a large scale green hosting facility in Manchester.
June 2007 - UKFast becomes UK TopHosts, Best Dedicated Host in the UK.
May 2007 – UKFast moves into the 28th Floor of City Tower beginning an expansion drive that will increase staff by 66 per cent. The move puts UKFast on top of the city in officially the highest office space in the region.
March 2007 – UKFast receives Investors in People accreditation.
Feb 2007 – UKFast wins the Best Business host award at the ISPAs (industry awards) for the third year running.
Jan 2007 – The New Year sees web presences from both Virgin and T-Mobile join the UKFast network.
Dec 2006 – UKFast announces the winners of the UKFast Internet Awards 2006, with winners including Square Enix, Sainsbury’s and The Eazyfone Group.
Nov 2006 – UKFast’s R&D team creates Capacity Threshold Monitoring (CTM) allowing clients an extra level of control over server surveillance.
Oct 2006 – A new suite is created at MANOC2 doubling server space at the data centre.
Aug 2006 – Web host directory votes UKFast the winner of UK’s Unix Web Host provider award.
Jul 2006 – Charity Alcohol Concern joins the Network.
June 2006 - The world's most downloaded science podcast, The Naked Scientists joins UKFast's network to take advantage of high grade bandwidth.
May 2006 - UKFast wins the organisers award for the Best stand at the Internet World exhibition, Earls Court.
April 2006 - The Sharks sign a new 3-year deal with UKFast to take the sponsorship of the club to its ten year anniversary.
March 2006 - The National Art Gallery and global credit agency Experian join the UKFast network.
Feb 2006 - UKFast becomes the ISPA’s (industry body) Best Hosting Provider for second year running.
Dec 2005 – Reviewing the world’s biggest ISPs, Tophosts places UKFast at No.3.
Nov 2005 – Superbike Champs Airwaves Ducati enlist UKFast’s online engine.
June 2005 – UKFast is named Best Windows Host by WebHost Directory.
April 2005 – Innovations Agency Dubit brings SKY Interactive to the Network.
March 2005 – Dollond & Aitchison entrust Web Solutions to UKFast, joining Royal & Sun Alliance and The Australian High Commission on the Network.
Feb 2005 – UKFast is the ISPAs Best Hosting Provider, beating Tiscali/
Jan 2005 – UKFast announces 2004 turnover has increased 100% year on year.
Dec 2004 – UKFast partners with Veritas to offer world leading back-up.
Nov 2004 – Future Publishing proclaims UKFast the UK’s Best Business ISP ahead of Pipex.
Sept 2004 - The Sale Sharks hosting solution results in a 4500% rise in visitors.
June 2004 – Independent Web Monitor Webperf first tests the Network and finds 100% availability for all clients.
Feb 2004 – The Research & Development team invent SafeDNS, making domain name administration simple.
2003 – UKFast establishes a Research & Development department and predicting market demand becomes a speciality.
2002 – With the introduction of the GraphiteRack range, a focus on dedicated servers places UKFast at the forefront of the industry.
2001 – UKFast becomes technical sponsor of Sale Sharks Premier Rugby Club and provides services to Tesco, Coca Cola and Weetabix.
2000 – UKFast’s Reseller model is a favourite with Web Design companies.
1999 – Established to offer definitive Internet hosting to all UK businesses.
