Chris Moss on branding Orange and 118 188
Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of the GM Chamber, interviews Chris Moss the marketing guru who launched Orange and 118 118 at Manchester Central as part of the Business North West Expo.
Chris has now launched the directory enquiries company 118 118 in countries all over Europe. He also spent eight years heading up the marketing for Virgin Atlantic in their early years and sees himself as an intrepreneur, working like an entrepreneur within other people's companies.

Manchester's Building and Development Review 2007
The Buildings and Development section of the Chamber is one of the sector's largest pressure groups outside of London. This month's Chamber Podcast comes from the group's Annual Review of the property sector, which took place at the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester on 20 November.
John Walding, PR Manager for the Chamber went along to get the highlights. The seminar is presented by chair of the section Phil Cusack and the three speakers for the afternoon are Ken Bishop, director of DTZ, David Leather from GMPTE and Janet Dunnett, the chief executive of The Piccadilly Partnership.

In The Pink - Raising money and networking
The Chamber joined forces with Breast Cancer Awareness month in October to host a charity event for Breast Cancer Care. John Walding, PR manager at the Greater Manchester Chamber gives us an inside eye on the event and Coronation Street star Julia Howarth speaks about the charity to a group of over 100 Manchester businesswomen.
The event took place on Monday 22 October at the City Inn in Manchester's Piccadilly area. Sponsored by the Pink Ladies, a luxury taxi company for women only, it was presented by Chamber Executive, Angie Robinson.

The Tale of the Cities report
The Tale of the Cities is a report commissioned by the British Chamber's of Commerce that looks at the contribution city regions make to the UK economy. Taking England's major regional centres along with Cardiff and Edinburgh the report delivers recommendations on key issues and this Manchester launch focuses in on our city region.
The launch took place on Monday 10th September and was chaired by Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of the GM Chamber of Commerce. Guest speakers were David Frost. Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, Graeme Stringer, MP for Blakely and Keith Johnston, Chamber President and Partner at Addleshaw Goddard.
