UKFast is sponsoring Stockfest 2008
UKFast is a keen supporter of worthy initiatives in the North West area, so when Stockfest’s organisers approached us to sponsor their event we were delighted to become a main backer. Supporting excellent community causes, such as Stockfest, is a core remit of UKFast as we look to give back to our local area. 
This year Stockfest ’08 will again be held at Stockport County’s training facility in Timperley, Cheshire. Central to the day’s festivities will be the round-robin football competition. Eight teams of dedicated football lovers will come together to compete for the Stockfest title.
The teams are to be split in two groups of four, and following the round-robin league stage the top two from each group will go into the main semi-finals, while the remainder will compete in the spoon competition semi-finals.
This year Stockfest has attracted some of the cream of British football (in terms of fans teams!) to take part. In group A local side Net Devils (Man Utd) will be joined by Deva Chat FC (Chester City), FC Rearguard (Tranmere Rovers) and Tiger Nation FC (Hull City). Squaring up in group B will be hosts Animo et Fide (Stockport County) along with KaisAyr FC (Ayr Utd), Boing FC (WBA) and FTYBR FC (Mansfield Town).
True fans of salt-of-the-earth football should come down to the event in May to see 18 games and over six hours of great action. And don’t forget that you will also be joining UKFast in supporting a fantastic cause – the battle against multiple sclerosis.
